How I Spent My Summer Vacation
I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations,this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.
Two years ago I was a primary school student.
On weekdays I got up at 6:40 am.I had lessons the whole day,so I had lunch at school.In the evening I had to do my homework and then went to bed at 8:30 pm.
On weekends I got up at 7:30 am.In the morning I did my homework and I played football in the afternoon.I watched TV in the evening and went to bed at 9:30 pm.
My daily routine then was very regular,so I still remember it now.

A Summer Camp
This summer, I had some special days. I joined Dongzhou International Educational Exchange Summer Camp.
First, I will tell you about our foreign teachers, they are Shrina and Rebecca. They are friendly and beautiful. They are students at Oxford University.
We talked about many things: famous people, subjects in England, different jobs, our deal days, western star signs, what can we say in a restaurant and so on.
We know lots of things, like what the difference is between “chef” and “cook”， all the parts of the body…
We tried to write a letter to Principal Zhang. We made a play and we drew our own comics and tried to sell it. We gave some other students English lessons, we taught them about Chinese Dragon, Chinese Martial Arts and the Olympics.
Every afternoon, we played exciting games: Chinese Whispers, Tongue Twisters, Wheelbarrow, egg and spoon, three legs…
On the last day, we had a good time. We made black tea. We put tea bags, some milk and lots of water in to a big bowl, and then we stirred the tea until it became red and dark. Oh, it tasted good! Later, we used eggs, flour and milk to make many pancakes. To cook them is very interesting. When we finished it, the pancakes looked round and nice. We put some jam on it. How delicious! I wont ever forget it.
The summer Camp is a really good chance for me. I know the local things in England. I learned a lot and like English more. I also know better ways to learn English well.

My grade school days are the most wonderful time I have ever had.In those days I always wanted as eagerly to learn as a dog prowls about in search of food.
The teachers taught me not only the three Rs but also the way to observe the world surrounding us.They laid more stress on observation than on memorization.Thus we had much time to talk over and trade our learning experiences.What excited me most during my grade school days,however,was to be out collecting specimens of the ，on a sunny day and after walking a good while,we reached a one began to catch the butterflies with great excitement while the teacher told us about the living habit of them.

One day, when I went home after school, I found there was no one at home, so I felt bored. I suddenly thought about the toy I wanted to buy last time, but my mother stopped me, she said I had bought so many toys, I still wanted to buy. I saw my mother put her money in the desk, as I wanted the toy so much, so I took the money and then went to the shop. When my mother came home, she did not realize, but I felt so guilty, I decided to tell her the truth.
