Mrs. Bonnet had no other wish if her five daughters could get married as soon as possible with someone wealthy. At a dancing ball, it is obvious that Mr. Bingley could not help falling in love at the first sight with Miss Jane because of her stunning beauty. Mrs. Benne was so excited that she could not hold her manner and declared publicly she would have a daughter married soon, which frightened Mr. Bingley away. Mr. Collins, a distance nephew of Mr. Bennet, came to ask a marriage to one of his cousins before Mrs. Bennet was able to get clear why Mr. Bingley left suddenly. After receiving the hint from Mrs. Bennet that Jane already had an admirer, Mr. Collins turned to Elizabeth without wasting a minute and to Miss Charlotte Lucas two days later after refused by Elizabeth. In this semester, I have read the book Pride and Prejudice in English version. Pride and Prejudice is one of my favoritebooks. In this book, Jane Austen shows us different ways and attitudes toward marriage by describing four love stories in the book. In this book, Jane Austengave the people vivid characters.The characters have their own personalities. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. The character in this book I like best is Elizabeth. From where I stand, Elizabeth is unique. From story to see, Elizabeth has both resourcefulness and courage. The language used in this book is one of the reason I like the book. Humorous, ironical, polished language and real storyline occurred in this articlegive me a deep impression.Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”， her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively.
